 Welcome
to Carroll County, Ohio. You will find in your visit rolling hills, with scenic views of
woodlands, lakes streams and fields. The county side comes alive in the spring with the
blooming of daffodils, thus giving the county the title "Daffodil County". As the
area lakes warm with the summer sun, swimmers, fishermen and boaters alike gather to enjoy
the resources of Atwood and Leesville Lakes. Fall brings rewards to the traveler as trees
turn to fiery red and gold in the autumn sun. The Great Trail and Algonquin Mill Festivals
offer a trip back in time as visitors enjoy reenactments, music, crafts, traditional foods
and many other activities. Winter blankets the hills with snow creating wonderful winter
landscapes. Christmas sprinkles the countryside with lights as decorations are aglow. |
