Sheriff Sales are conducted at the Harrison County Court House, 100 W. Market St. Cadiz OH, 43907, on the second floor, center hallway, unless otherwise noted.
Property must bring at least two-thirds (2/3rds) of the appraised value or it cannot be sold.
Terms of Foreclosure Sale: 10% of the purchase price down on the day of the sale, balance upon delivery of the Sheriff's Deed. Note: (In some cases the deposit amount is specified in the order of sale praecipe issued from the court. This will be reflected in the sale advertisement listed here, and in the newspaper.) Terms on Tax Sales: On Delinquent Tax Sales the full sale amount is due at the time of the sale. All sales are classified, "Buyer Beware" Status of any sale can change anytime up to the time of the sale. Sheriff Sales are normally advertised in the News Herald in Mondays paper, but that is subject to change in case of a holiday.
