The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce works for the community to improve the community. The Chamber attracts new businesses to the area that help to provide jobs for the local residents. Also the Chamber of Commerce takes an active role in the community at large. The Chamber hosted the 1st Annual Home and Craft Show, which provides an opportunity for everyone with a product to come and sell it to the public.

They also co-sponsored a class with Belmont Technical College called How to Start a Business. In order to let the residents see how local businesses work, the Chamber offers a program called Business After Hours. This program allows for people from the community to go into a business after it has closed to get a feel for what goes on there. The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce has also set up Workman Compensation for local businesses.
