Jewett

The village was platted in 1851 with the name of Fairview. After the Civil War it was named Jewett. Main lines of the Pennsylvania and Wheeling Lake Erie Railroads went through this town and had a railroad and yard shop.

Faith Ranch. 4200 acre working ranch offers summer camps, family camps, year-round retreats and conferences.
Kammeyer Opera House. Built in 1910 and restored on 1992. Now offers modern facilities for meetings, receptions, stage plays, and catered meals. It is also a stop for steam-engine trail excursions.
Old Mill. 104 N. Rumley St. Originally on Conotton Creek, was moved to present site in 1870.
Murals. Located on various buildings. Depict people and places of importance to the area.
Grist Mill. The world’s smallest working gristmill. Corn mill, ground on site, is for sale.
